Address Searches:

                There are two types of address searches:

 

                The Address search on the Search Toolbar searches for addresses associated with a Parcel.

                The Address Locator tool on the Tools toolbar searches for point-based addresses, road-based addresses, and intersections.

Lat / Lon (Coordinate) Searches:

 

               Lat / Lon Coordinates are searched using the Coordinate Search (Lat/Lon) or Address Locator Tools:

                The Coordinate Search (Lat/Lon) tool is found on the Tools toolbar:

Topo:

        Topo layers can be turned on using the Topo Layer Theme.

1.      Click the Layer Them Button on the bottom left of the screen:

3.      Click the Topo Theme:

5.      The Topo layer and Contours will be added to the map.

6.      Or…

7.      In the Layers tab scroll down to Additional Layers

8.      Expand the listing of Additional Layers by clicking the >

10. Click the boxes next to USGS National Map Contours and/or USGS National Map Topo

Planning Searches:

               Planning Searches are used for Searching Land Use and Land Division cases.

               When using the Planning Searches the layer(s) that you’re searching will be turned on to facilitate the search.    

 

Use the Restore Layers button to restore the map to the original configuration.  This will turn off the layers used in the Planning Searches.

Basemaps:

        Basemaps can be selected using the Basemaps button found in the lower right corner of the map.

Basemaps can be changed by selecting a Basemap from the choices in the Basemap Picker:

The Basemaps Imagery Slider allows you to view Weld County Imagery in chronological order:

Selecting Imagery Slider will add the slider to the Map:

Before using the Imagery Slider uncheck the Imagery layer in the Layers panel

 à  Graphical user interface, application AI-generated content may be incorrect.

Then use the Imagery Slider to view the various years of Weld County Imagery

To stop using the Imagery Slider click the Basemaps button and select a different basemap.  OpenStreetMap is the default basemap.
